Zack von Zossen is a wonderful 12 month old German Shepherd. (Zack arrived at the rescue with Zara, and is available separately or with her.) One glance tells you that Zack was obviously neglected. He is currently being treated, and his long coat will gleam again (scroll down the photos to see other before-and-after transformations). However, when it comes to this boy’s personality, it is sparking right now. Zack walks well on leash and sticks close. He’s great company on a walk and even better when he’s joined by another dog friend. He has a nice easygoing personality and a medium energy level and enjoys following you around as much as he does lying next to you. Around other dogs, Zack joins playgroups with a wagging tail and a sense of ease. He is socialized around other dogs and seems to go with the flow of the group. Not really into roughhousing, Zack prefers to be at your side and deliver kisses to your hand in hopes of pets and praise. Zack’s fortunes turned around when he arrived at the rescue, but his ultimate good fortune will be landing a kind home that sees his true potential.
